Online check-in:

Airport check-in:
Passengers can also check-in for their flight at the airport counter. Check-in counters typically open 2-3 hours before the scheduled departure time and close 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before departure for international flights.
Self-service check-in kiosks:
Some airports may also have self-service check-in kiosks available for passengers to use.
The following travel paperwork must be organized before arriving at the Air Astana Airport:

Airport check-in to get a Boarding Pass
- Prepare your travel documentation.
- The Air Astana check-in desks are located in the departures area.
- Get in the queue for the proper check-in.
- To get your boarding card, show the check-in agent your travel documentation.
- The agent will tag your bags and provide you with claim receipts if you have checked baggage.
- Step up to the security gate.
Kiosk check-in to get a Boarding Pass
- Find the airport's self-service kiosks. These are usually found close to the Air Astana check-in desks.
- Enter your booking information by adhering to the on-screen instructions.
- Check your trip information, then choose a seat (if one is available).
- Print your boarding pass and, if necessary, any luggage tags.
- Go to the bag drop area to drop off your bags and get your claim receipts if you have any checked baggage.
- Step up to the security gate.
- Wait for boarding at your departure gate.
