Hand/Cabin Baggage Policy

All passengers are entitled to a piece of a carry-on item weighing no more than 4kg and a personal item such as a laptop, a camera, or a briefcase.

Prohibited items are not allowed onboard, including any fluid/gel exceeding 100ml. Any fluid/gel must be placed in a plastic bag for security check.

NOTE:  Bulkhead seats do not have under-seat storage. Therefore, all carry-on baggage must be stowed in the overhead bin during take-off and landing.

Checked Baggage

Baggage allowance will be confirmed at the time of booking - if it is possible to add more baggage to your booking, this option will also be offered.

The baggage allowance will depend on the ticket fare purchased. Passengers who have purchased a lower ticket fare will only have carry-on baggage included in their ticket price. Passengers who have purchased a higher ticket fare will be allowed one piece of 23kg checked luggage. Any additional weight above 23kg can be added with a fee. In all circumstances, no individual bag can exceed 32kg.

Passengers who have purchased a basic fare can still add baggage to their booking, either during or after their reservation.

Additional or Excess Baggage

When traveling with Air Panama, extra baggage fees are applied for each limitation you exceed in size, Weight, and quantity. Generally, this varies between geographic regions. Please visit the Air Panama website for more information and exact fees.
