Carry-on/Cabin Baggage Policy
Air Asia's cabin baggage policy allows passengers to carry one piece of cabin baggage and one minor or laptop bag on board. Here are the size and weight limits for cabin baggage:
- Maximum dimensions: 56cm x 36cm x 23cm
- Maximum weight: 7 kg
If your cabin baggage exceeds the size or weight limits, you must check it in and pay an excess baggage fee.
NOTE: Bulkhead seats lack under-seat storage, so all carry-on and cabin luggage must be stored in the overhead compartment during takeoff and landing.

Economy Passengers:

Sports Equipment Fee
A Sports Equipment Fee applies to Surfboards, Snowboards, Bicycles, Scuba, Golf, and Skiing gear. Any other sporting equipment will be accepted as part of the baggage allowance and subject to any associated fees. All articles must be less than 109 linear inches/277 cm (length + width + height) and no longer than 80 in/203 cm.
