Baggage Policy
Gulf Air's baggage policy allows passengers to bring a carry-on and checked baggage with weight and size restrictions, while excess baggage fees may apply for overweight or oversized bags. Passengers are advised to check the airline's website for specific details on the baggage policy for their flight.
Carry-on/Cabin Baggage Policy
https://www.gulfair.com/your-journey/baggage
Gulf Air permits Falcon gold passengers to carry one handbag and one briefcase. Moreover, the baggage can be of a maximum of 9kg with 55 c 40 x 30cm – 22 x 15 x 12in dimensions. On the other hand, economy passengers can carry only one piece of baggage. The maximum weight should be 6kg with 45 x 40 x 30cm – 17 x 15 x 12in dimensions. Personal items can be laptops, umbrellas, books, etc. Lastly, children under the age of 2 are permitted cabin baggage. The maximum weight can be 3kg with 44 x 35 x 20cm dimensions.
NOTE: Bulkhead seats lack under-seat storage, so all carry-on and cabin luggage must be stored in the overhead compartment during takeoff and landing.
Checked Baggage
The airline permits passengers to carry checked-in baggage. However, this differs from fare to fare. For example, passengers with Falcon gold boutique fares (smart and flex fares) can have two bags of up to 32kg each. Moreover, passengers with economy boutique fares (smart and flex fares) can carry two bags of up to 23kg each. Lastly, the dimension of all checked baggage should be a maximum of 51 c 76 x 31cm.
Gulf Air permits children/infants below the age of two to one piece of baggage of a maximum of 15kg weight.
