Nordwind Airlines Overview 

Nordwind Airlines was founded in 2008 and it is a low-cost charter and scheduled Russian Airline Moreover, the airline started off with 3 Boeing aircrafts. And now, the airline’s fleet consists of about 33 aircrafts that belong to the Airbus as well as Boeing family. The airline also has a subsidiary called Pegas Fly. Lastly, the airline operates flights to around 97 destinations in 26 countries. 

Nordwind Airlines Hub and Destinations 

Nordwind Airlines has its hub airport as Sheremetyevo International Airport, Moscow. Moreover, the airline operates flights to 97 destinations across 22 cities. Furthermore, these destinations are spread out in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, South America and Asia. In addition to this, some of the destinations that the airline operates flights to include Santa Clara, Minsk, Tirana, Puerto Cana, Cairo, Goa, Almaty, Irkutsk, Kazan, Saint Petersburg, Samata, Jeddah, Reid, Khujand, Bangkok, Istanbul, Urgench, Dubai and many more. 

Nordwind Airlines Travel Class 

This airline offers Economy Class and Business Class to passengers on-board. 

Economy Class

Economy Class is the most basic cabin available. It gives passengers an affordable value and comes with comfortable service. In addition, the flight crew is highly trained and very friendly. Moreover, the passengers can order delicious food and beverages onboard from the in-flight menu. In addition. Furthermore, the food menu also depends on the route of travel and duration of flight. Lastly, the seats in the cabin are high quality and very comfortable, they have generous pitch and width. On a narrow-body aircraft the seats are put out in a 3 x 3 configuration and on a wide-body aircraft the seats are put out in a 2 x 4 x 2 configuration.

Business Class

Business Class permits passengers to enjoy additional benefits and premium service which will make their whole experience superior, it is available on long international flights. For instance, from the moment passengers reach the airport they can experience premium and priority service. In addition to this, passengers can savour delicious snacks, meals and drinks/beverages available on the in-flight menu. Furthermore, passengers can stay entertained through magazines available to them. They also receive an amenity kit which will surely enhance their flying experience. Lastly, seats in the Business Class cabin are very comfortable, genuine leather and will definitely help the passengers unwind max and relax. They have a lot of width and pitch, and are set out in a 2 x 2 x 2 formation. 

In-Flight Entertainment 

Nordwind Airlines does not offer in-flight entertainment to passengers on-board. However, the airline provides the passengers magazine on board so that passengers can browse through it and stay entertained. Moreover, passengers can download entertainment on their devices before the flight and enjoy watching it throughout the flight. 

In-Flight Food 

Nordwind Airlines offers complimentary soft drinks to passengers on all flights. Moreover, what the airline further offers depends on the duration of travel and cabin class. So on short haul flights economy passengers can order drinks and snacks and business class passengers are offered hot meals as well as tea and coffee. Furthermore, on long haul flights economy class passengers are offered drinks and hot meals. Whereas business class passengers are offered two hot meals, and both hot and cold beverages. 

The airline also offers special meals which cater to special dietary requirements of the passengers. Special meals, for instance vegetarian meals, need to be purchased at least 24 hours before the flight. Moreover, baby meals need to be ordered 48 hours before the scheduled departure of the flight. 

Frequent Flyer Program 

Nordwind Club is the frequent flyer program of Nordwind Airlines, its main purpose is to reward loyal passengers. Moreover, the program permits passengers to earn miles when they fly with the airline, its partner airlines or charter flights. In addition to this, members of the frequent flying program can redeem miles for various benefits and upgrades. For instance, they can redeem miles on flights, additional baggage allowance, VIP Lounge, etc. Lastly, there are four membership levels available and they come with different privileges: Red, Silver, Gold, Platinum.
