Smartwings Overview 

Smartwings, a.s. (formerly Travel Service, a.s.), was founded in 1997 and it is a low-cost Czech Airline. Moreover, the airline is the biggest airline in Czech Republic and it operates both charter and scheduled flights. Furthermore, this airline owns 98% of Czech Airlines which is the flag carrier of Czech republic. Lastly, the airline’s fleet consists of over 30 aircrafts that belong to the Boeing family. 

Smartwings Hub and Destinations 

Smartwings has its hub airport as Václav Havel Airport Prague in Ruzyně, 6th district, Prague. Moreover, the airline has an extensive network spread out across Europe. In addition to this, some of the destinations that the airline operates flights to include Monastir, Larnaca, Tel Aviv, Antalya, Dubai, Tirana, Varna, Burgas, Dubrovnik, Split, Brno, Ostrava, Pardubice, Prague, Paris, Chania, Corfu, Heraklion, Kos, Lemnos, Mytilene, Rhodes, Thessaloniki, Zakynthos, Cagliari, Catania, Rome, Warsaw, Moscow, London, Olbia, Rostov, Samara and many others.

Smartwings Travel Class 

Smartwings is a low-cost airline, it offers Economy Class on-board. In addition to this, Business class is available on select flights. 

Economy Class

Economy Class gives passengers an affordable value and comes with comfortable service. In addition, the flight crew is highly trained and very friendly. Moreover, the passengers can purchase either of the three economy fares available: Lite, Plus and Flex package. 

LITE package 

This fare gives passengers amazing affordability, it includes passenger travel – so just essential service. Moreover, it does not include checked baggage or seat selection service, etc. 

PLUS package 

This fare option has a few added benefits. For instance this fare includes cabin baggage and checked baggage. Moreover, passengers can  reserve the seat they prefer. Lastly, this ticket is non-refundable. 

BlueBIZ

This fare option gives passengers full flexibility when it comes to making changes to the ticket. Passengers can also pre-book the seat according to their preference. In addition to this, the fare gives passengers additional baggage allowance. Moreover, this fare covers the possibility of cancellation of a ticket for a fee. Lastly, passengers can expect a complimentary snack once on-board.

Business class 

Business class is available on select flights. Passengers can enjoy premium snacks and drinks on-board. Moreover, they can enjoy additional baggage allowance. They also have access to the business lounge at the airport, therefore they can relax before the flight. Lastly, this cabin is the best on the aircraft. 

In-Flight Entertainment 

Smartwings provides passengers with a Wi-Fi entertainment portal on-board. Through this portal passengers can listen to music, play games, read magazines and do many more things using their personal devices. Moreover, this service costs 2.37 USD only. Furthermore, all passengers need to do is download the MyWings app on their personal device, open the MyWings app while connected to Wi-Fi and enjoy their flight. 

In-Flight Food 

Smartwings does not offer complimentary food and drinks to passengers. Moreover, the airline offers a menu to passengers on-board that has a range of food, snacks, and drinks. In addition to this, passengers can also pre-purchase food for their flight at least 48 hours before the departure of the flight. 

Frequent Flyer Program 

Smartwings does not have a frequent flyer program.
