Cancellation Policy

VietJet Air permits only skyboss fare type passengers to cancel their flight ticket. Deluxe and Eco fare type passengers cannot cancel their ticket. Cancellation is also only available for passengers who originally booked the sky bass fare, it is not applicable to sky bass fare upgrade from other fare types. In addition to this, after cancellation the passenger is entitled to a credit shell. Moreover, this credit shell will be valid for up to 2 years from the departure date of the flight which was cancelled. Lastly, an administration fee is deducted. 

Furthermore, skyboss passengers can contact the airline within 72 hours after the departure of the flight to request cancellation if they miss the flight. In this case they are entitled to a credit shell.

The airline allows name changes in the ticket. Therefore, passengers who are unable to cancel their flight ticket, can sell their flight to someone else. Ultimately getting their refund but from another passenger. 

Refund Policy

VietJet Air Only reference if the ticket is eligible. However under circumstances where the passenger has been denied boarding due to the cancellation of a flight or due to a delay, passengers can receive a refund. Moreover passengers can choose to get the refund as cash or via bank transfer. In addition, the refund is given in the same currency that the passenger used to pay for the ticket in. Lastly, the refund will be given to the passenger who is named on the ticket or the person who paid for the ticket.
