Baggage allowance
Carry-on baggage
Vistara permits passengers to carry one piece of baggage. In addition, the baggage can weigh a maximum of 7kg for economy passengers. Moreover, premium passengers can carry 10kg weight and business passengers can carry 12kg weight for the same. Furthermore, the baggage can be of maximum 55 x 40 x 20cm dimension for all passengers. In addition, passengers can also carry a personal item like handbag, coat, laptop bag, etc.

Check-in baggage allowance for travel to London, Frankfurt and Tokyo (per customer except infants) is as following:
- Economy – 2 pieces 23 kg each
- Premium – also 2 pieces 23kg each
- Business – For Flexi passengers the allowance is 3 pieces, 32kg each and for Standard/Value the allowance is also 2 pieces 23 kg each
Excess Baggage
Passengers are required to pay excess baggage fee if they exceed baggage allowance. Firstly, at the airport excess charge fee is INR 500 per kg for all passengers, this is limited to travel within India. Secondly, at the airport the excess charge fee is USD 12 per kg for all passengers, this is limited for Bangkok, Colombo, Dhaka, Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu, Sharjah and Singapore. Lastly, the excess charge fee is USD 100 (23-32kg) for all passengers, this is limited to London, Frankfurt and Tokyo. For an additional piece on the same route passengers will be charged USD 220 – USD 200.
