Baggage allowance
Carry-on baggage
VivaAerobús permits passengers to carry one piece of carry-on baggage for free. Along with this they can also carry a personal item. In addition, this item can be a laptop bag or purse, etc. Moreover, the baggage can be of maximum 10kg weight with 55 x 40 x 23cm dimensions. Furthermore, the baggage dimensions of carry-in baggage can be maximum 45 x 35 x 20cm. Whereas, the personal item can be of 55 x 40 x 25cm dimensions. Lastly, if passengers are travelling with a combo Smart fare then the weight allowance for them is 15kg.
Checked baggage
The airline permits Basic or Smart combo passengers to carry one checked-in baggage free of cost. Moreover, the baggage can weigh a maximum of 15kg with 155cm dimensions for Basic combo. On the other hand, the baggage can weigh a maximum 25kg with 158cm dimensions for Smart combo. Lastly, passengers can add extra baggage with an extra charge, the weight of any baggage can be maximum 32kg.

Special Baggage
Musical Instruments
VivaAerobús permits passengers to carry musical instruments with them on their journey, provided that they are properly packed. It also depends on the size and weight of the musical instrument. Moreover, passengers may carry some instruments like clarinet, flute, or violin as hand luggage. These instruments must meet the allowance of carry-on baggage. Furthermore, with an additional cost passengers can also transport musical instruments as checked baggage. Lastly, the instrument must not weigh more than 32kg with 319cm dimensions.
Sports Instruments
VivaAerobús allows passengers to carry sports equipment for their next big adventure. Whether passengers wish to surf or cycle or golf, the airline permits transport at an affordable price. Firstly, if the equipment is small then passengers can carry it as hand luggage. However, it has to comply with the allowance for the same. Next, it can also be carried as checked baggage as long as it is properly packed and complies with the baggage allowance for the same.
